Orb/Chevron Shaped lights
I had arrived at work and parked when I looked through the front windshield of my vehicle to the east and saw a bright point of orange/white light at approx. 30/45 degrees above the horizon, more or less eye level for a driver. I sat there and looked at it, believing it to be an aircraft reflecting the light of the setting sun behind me in the west, or a glare on the windshield, but I easily ruled out glare simply because the sun had set behind the horizion and the parkinglot lights had not yet turned on. I thought that it had to be a plane or a helicopter.
It initially began as a single exceptionally bright point of light, perhaps half as large as a dime held at arms length and very bright orange/white, much like an incandecent lightbulb. I saw that it was moving in an east to west direction directly towards me. Thinking it was a plane I left my vehicle and prepared to head into work, though after retriving several items from the cab of my truck I again looked at the object and saw that it was still moving east to west, now much closer -60 to 70 degrees above the horizon.
The formerly bright light had dimmed considerably, it’s size decreasing to half what I had initially seen it. I thought this odd since a plane heading into the sun would have continued to maintain a constant or increasing glare/reflection, rather than decreasing. I stopped and watched the object at this unusual development. I cannot honestly say when the object changed from a brignt point, I was looking around the parking lot to see if anyone else was observing it. I looked back up and the object was almost directly overhead, the single point of light was now a clearly defined set of four, much like a triangle, with the upper point being the direction of travel, and two lights set on either side joining the point. The sky was overcast, and I cannot be sure just what the altitude was, but I could not decern any mass within the lights, and the formation’s size was about the same as a quarter held at arm’s length.
I looked at my watch and around me once again to see if anyone else was looking, and when I returned my gaze to the sky, the object had vanished. I could not see anything that may have caused a reflection, such as an aircraft flying in a westerly course. I have seen many planes flying over this area, this object did not exibit any similarity to the craft I have normaly seen. And I can say with absolute certainty that there was nothing visible within the area bracketed by the four lights. I observed the object for apporximately fifteen minutes and it did not vary it’s course or speed in any way during that time. I cannot say that I felt any kind of confusion or overwhelming emotion when I saw this, for the most part until I saw the four lights in place of the single sphere I considered it to be a plane.

This Object was Strange in shape
Me and my mother was standing out on our porch when we seen this light coming over the mountain coming from the North towards the South straight towards my house then my mom said for me to get my Binoculars out to get a good look at this because it had no flashing lights unlike a plain what I seen was no air craft and when I pointed the Binoculars at this object it stopped in mid air as if it had seen me I got a good look at it and let me tell you People this object is nothing that we have it’s the design is like something ancient just the formation in shape is unbelievable that’s how good of a view we have been seeing these objects here just about every night just in the past 3 months they rang in different colors and shapes I never seen so many UFO’s just in this short period of time as we are seeing over Shamokin. My friend Sam from Ohio is seeing these objects coming up out of the Lake on a steady Basis and he contacts me by email and Phone and when he says they are headed North towards my way I see the same thing that he is seeing off the Lake like 10 min later Sam has come to Shamokin 2 weekends ago to spend the night and when we sat out in the yard we both seen the same thing the Object I seen last night was a bright light that dims and becomes bright

Role Playing Nerds Lament the Loss of Gary Gygax, co-creator of Dungeons and Dragons
I can just picture the legions of nerds who will gather in the various online RPG realms tonight to hold ceremonies and remembrances for the man who made it all possible, Gary Gygax. I’ll admit…I tried to play D&D a couple of times, I tried hard. I created a character that I put a lot of time and thought into, a character I thought I would enjoy exploring…but somehow the sessions usually boiled down to me trying to use a set of bugbear balls as a weapon or something equally as dumb. Somehow I just wasn’t able to emerse myself deep enough into the game’s reality to not see it as one big pile of joke fodder.
I can remember there being a scare in my town when I was a kid, and it also being on tv, about the dangers of Dungeons & Dragons and how it could be a gateway leading to more sinister pastimes, namely, Satanism. Around the same time, a teenage kid who happened to like metal bands, and doodling the art work that surrounded the metal scene at the time on his books and walls, committed suicide in my town. The idea that the kid was a Satanist and that he took his life as a result spread quickly. Soon enough, there was a full blown panic about D&D for a short while…I recall hearing teachers, our priest, my mother and neighbors all telling us kids playing D&D was dangerous (and evil) well before I ever tried playing, and it could quite possibly be the reason why I never was able to let myself enter the game’s reality deeply enough to fully enjoy it. Maybe subconsciously I had taken on the fear of becoming possessed by the devil in the process, like a young Tom Hanks in the movie “Monsters and Mazes”…but in any event, I have to admit for even a non role player, it’s a day of note, to mark the “final campaign” of the Ultimate Dungeon Master.

It is great when our government spends more money on useless crap. They already have mace, tear spray, and various methods to stop anykind of “trouble” that lurks when people stand up for their rights. Now, after millions and perhaps billions have been spent, we have a new invention - THE RAY GUN. No not Ronald Ray Gun, but RAY GUN. Its funny how this CBS news guy looks like he is taking a dump when he dodges this “ray”! Enjoy folks.

Saudi Witch Death Sentence a Travesty of Justice, and Ridiculous.
You know I really try to understand different cultures, but the way these cavemen treat women, is beyond the rational explanation of cultural differences. I just don’t get it.
Once again we see a woman being unjustly accused of a crime by a barbarous Saudi Arabia justice system. Is it any wonder that Bin Laden comes from here and that al Qaeda continues to receive funding from this country. So why is this country referred to as an “ally.” Look no further than the Bush family ties to the Saudi rulers. Oil is thicker than human rights.
