The New York Times is reporting that NY State Governor Elliot Spitzer, along with top aides, has been linked to a prostitution ring bust! Rumors are flying about that he is due to announce his resignation this afternoon.

The New York Times quoted an unnamed administration aide as stating that Governor Spitzer, who i smarried with 3 children, informed his most senior administration officials that he had been involved in a prostitution ring, “The Emporer’s Club VIP”.

It is also rumored that taxpayer dollars were used to transport a prostitute across state lines for the Governor.

The Governor’s Previously scheduled events have been canceled and is set to deliver an announcement from his office at 2:15 pm est.

It will be interesting to see what, if any, impact this may have on the Presidential campaign…Spitzer is, of course, Governor of the home state of Hillary Clinton.

The NY Times is also reporting that a wire tap recording of Gov. Spitzer arranging for the services of a prostitute exists.

CNBC reprts that text messages were seized by authorities which include New York Governor Mr. Elliot Spitzer setting up “appointments” with $5,500.00 an hour escorts from the “Emperor’s Club” escort service
