Glow in the dark pigs - Jellyfish-Pigs? [VIDEO]

POSTED BY QBert on Jan 9 under Humor, Just Plain Weird, Newz, Science/Tech

Recently, Chinese scientists announced that the offspring of a transgenic pig, which had its genes spliced with a gene from a jellyfish, were born with the gene as well. Here is a video of the original glow pigs. You down with OGP? Yeah you know me!

I’ve been eating raw-vegan style for about a month now, but I would totally go back to my old meat eating ways for a plate load of glowing pork. Imagine a glowing pork roll egg and cheese sandwich. I am officially decreeing that glowing pork roll (aka taylor ham) is the new official food of New Jersey! Everything else glows from the toxic waste here, so why not the ham too. Now if we can get someone to get to work on the green eggs, then we’d really have something to talk about!

Here’s LINK to the feature story on the glowing offspring. Hah, wow. It felt good to type “glowing offspring”. This is the dawning of the Age of Aquarius.
